Last night, 103 House Democrats (more than half the caucus) voted for Thomas Massie's amendment to strip all $3.3 billion in Israel aid from the NSRP appropriations bill. In this video, I break down the vote, AIPAC's furious statement, and the archival clips of James Traficant and Pat Buchanan, two men who said the same thing decades ago and paid the price for it. Then I get into what I found in AIPAC's newest lobbying disclosure, filed July 14: the group is lobbying on H.R. 425, a bill to repeal the Corporate Transparency Act, the anti-money laundering law that exposes the true owners of shell companies. That includes groups like Pro-Choice Majority Action, the AIPAC-linked PAC that Drop Site News exposed after it funneled $1.2 million to Diana DeGette. I also walk through VoteLog's new amendment tracker and explain why not a single Republican joined Massie: they all watched what AIPAC did to him in Kentucky.
