MBS Begs Trump For Help Against Houthis TWICE, Trump Says No

Drones from Iraq shut the East-West pipeline. The Houthis took Perim Island and the strait. Oil is back above $100, and the price of American help may turn out to be the Abraham Accords.

For the first time, both of the world's most important oil chokepoints are being squeezed by the Iranian axis at the same time, and when Saudi Arabia asked America for help, the answer was no. Twice. In this video, I walk through the week that got us here: drones launched from Iraq, where Iranian-backed militias operate, hitting the East-West pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions Thursday morning, forcing Riyadh to shut down the Hormuz bypass that carries roughly five million barrels a day, with a smoke plume visible from space and a foreign ministry statement so restrained it defers to Baghdad's prime minister rather than retaliate.
