Love your content Walid! But I hate your support for liberalism. And by liberalism, I don’t mean progressive politics. I mean the real definition of liberalism; which is the belief in Free Enterprise.
One thing you don’t seem to understand is that in a liberal system, private capital funds public projects. For example, if Zohran wants to build new low income housing then he can’t just allocate state funds. Instead, he must beg investors for money to build that low income housing; even though the LIHTC (low income housing tax credits) can fund those projects of up to 80% of their total cost. So we, the people, pay up to 80% of the cost of those housing units, but investors are required to put up the capital in order for those projects to be built.
So, no matter what, liberalism forces politicians to beg for money in order to get anything done. Meaning that both Abdalrahman and Mamdani are beholden to the people who fund their projects. AKA Zionists.
